Mike Edwards Named A-10 Rookie of the Week
Oct. 18, 2004 Duquesne freshman Michael Edwards has been named the Atlantic 10 Golf Rookie of the Week. Edwards was honored following his performace at the two-day Binghamton University NBT Bank Collegiate Classic at the Links at Hiawatha Landing. He led Duquesne and was fifth overall out of 59 golfers with a score of 77-74-151. It is the second straight week a Duquesne golfer has earned A-10 Rookie of the Week honors as fellow freshman Jon Pratkanis was named last week. The Dukes placed third out of 11 teams with a two-day score of 316-303-619.
