The Duquesne University men's soccer team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 2-0 blanking of visiting Bucknell. Sophomore Steve Mellor scored his third and fourth goals of the season in the first period as the Dukes cruised to the win. Dan Hartung, Jason Kutney, Derek Freund and Derek Mackenzie tallied assists while freshman goalkeeper Zach Varga notched his second shutout of the young season.
The Dukes return to action on Friday, Sept. 12 as they face Dartmouth at 5:30 pm in the first round of the Richmond Invitational.
