Wright State's Austin Kinsley's goal in the 54th minute was the only score in the Raiders' 1-0 victory over Duquesne on Tuesday night at Rooney Field. The Dukes were held to seven shots by the WSU defense.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The first shot on goal did not occur until the 37th minute (Wright State's Jalim Bayo).
Florian Hoffmann's free kick from 30 yards out found the head of Alec Philippe and was put in by Kinsley on the right side in the 54th minute.
A Fredrik Borenstein shot in the 83rd minute was inches high.
WSU outshot Duquesne 16-7.
Raiders keeper Joel Sundell recorded his third shutout of the season.
Dukes keeper Robbie McKelvey made five saves.
Dorion Dixon had the lone shot on goal for the Dukes.
