HAMILTON, NEW YORK -- Duquesne's men's soccer team (#9 NSCAA Mid-Atlantic) improved its record to 3-0-1 with a 1-0 double overtime victory over Rider (0-2-0) in the Colgate Invitational.

Junior Damien Pottinger (Scarborough, Ontario / Mother Teresa) made his team-best fourth goal of the season the game-winner on an assist from sophomore Derek Mackenzie (Carnegie, PA / Chartiers Valley) in the 103rd minute. Senior goalkeeper Terry McNelis (Reading, PA / Exeter Twp.) posted his third shutout of the season, making one save. The Dukes outshot the Broncs, 9-8.

The Dukes return to action Saturday when they face host Colgate (#6 NSCAA New York) at 7:00 pm. The Raiders (2-1-1) topped Maine 4-1 on Friday. Rider meets Maine (1-2-1) at 4:30 pm.
