DU Men's Soccer Drops 2-1 Decision to Visiting Pitt

Duquesne's men's soccer team fell to 3-4 with a 2-1 loss to visiting Pitt Sunday afternoon on Rooney Field. The Panthers grabbed the early lead with a goal in the 5th minute, but the Dukes responded in the 19th minute as Karter Sell corraled his own shot that was blocked and put the second effort into the back of the net. The scored remained tied until the 70th minute when Pitt scored the eventual game-winner on a direct kick. The Red and Blue return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 18 as they host Cleveland State at 7:30 pm.
