Dukes Drop St. Francis in Second Overtime, 2-1

Junior Damien Pottinger's header with one second remaining in the second overtime gave the Dukes a 2-1 victory over St. Francis Saturday afternoon. The Dukes remain unbeaten on the season with a record of 5-0-2.
After a scoreless first half, senior David Gingrich gave the Dukes the lead in the 54th minute off an assist from senior goalkeeper Terry McNelis. St. Francis tied the game in the 71st minute to help set up Pottinger's dramatic game-winner off an assist from sophomore Matt Mehler.
The Dukes return to action next Sunday, Sept. 29 as they travel to Buffalo, NY, for the final non-conference game against Canisius (0-7) at 1:00 pm.
