Dukes Win Atlantic 10 Opener at Saint Joseph's in OT, 2-1

Duquesne's men's soccer team opened the Atlantic 10 portion of its schedule with a 2-1, overtime victory over Saint Joseph's Friday evening in Philadelphia.
The Hawks lit the scoreboard first with a goal in the 31st minute for a 1-0 Hawks lead. The SJU lead would go into halftime before Duquesne evened the score in the 48th minute after Joshua Patterson took a pass from Simon Gomez to knot it at one apiece.
The remainder of the second half was a defensive struggle which led into the overtime period when freshman Isaiah Noreiga headed in the game-winner in the 94th minute for the win.
The Dukes look to go 2-0 in A-10 play on Sunday as they take on Temple in Philly at 1:00 pm on Sunday.
