Men's Soccer Wins at St. Bonaventure, 3-1 on Sunday

Duquesne's men's soccer team travelled north to Olean, N.Y. and came home with a 3-1 victory at St. Bonaventure. Joshua Patterson scored the first and third goals of the game while Nathan McCann registered the game-winner.
The Dukes opened the scoring in the 17th minute as Patterson found the back of the net off assists from Simon Gomez and Austin Lange. The Red and Blue made it 2-0 in the 26th minute as McCann headed it in off assists from Karter Sell and Adam Clement. In the 66th minute, Patterson scored on an unassisted break-away before SBU scored just 30 seconds later for the final tally of the day.
Sam Frymier made six saves for the Dukes to give him 53 for the season.
Patterson now has a personal-best and team-leading 10 goals which is good for third best all-time at Duquesne for single-season goals.
The Dukes return to action on Friday, Oct. 19 as they host Xavier at 7:00 pm on Rooney Field.
