Box Score

Senior Damien Pottinger scored a school record four goals and added an assist on the fifth goal of the day as Duquesne defeated visiting Saint Joseph's, 5-0 on Rooney Field. The 22nd-ranked Dukes improve to 9-1-2 on the year and 4-0-1 in Atlantic 10 play. The Hawks are now 6-7-0, 3-2-0 in league play.

Pottinger's four goals are the most since 1995 when Fred Olson scored three versus Niagara in the program's first year of varsity play. Junior Matt Mehler assisted on the last three goals of the game to give him a team and personal-best six helpers on the season. Freshman Zach Varga made two saves and posted his sixth shutout of the year. (Varga and junior Bret Krotee combined on a seventh.)

The Red and Blue return to action on Sunday as they host Temple at 1:00 pm on Rooney Field.
