The men's soccer team improved to 9-2-4 on the season and 4-1-2 in Atlantic 10 play with a 3-2 win over visiting Dayton on Rooney Field. Junior Damien Pottinger scored the game-winner with 2:33 remaining in regulation off a Jason Kutney assist to give the Dukes the victory.

Junior Dan Hartung opened the scoring just 47 seconds into the contest off a rebound of Nathan Salsi's direct kick to give the Dukes an early lead. However, Dayton responded in the ninth minute to end the first half scoring.

In the second half, freshman Andrew Bell gave the Red and Blue a 2-1 advantage off an assist from Pottinger just 1:44 in, but Dayton tied it again just three and a half minutes later, knotting the game at 2-2, before Pottinger's late-game heroics.

Duquesne returns to action on Sunday as it hosts Xavier at 1:00 on Rooney Field.
