Red and Blue Lose to Rhody, 1-0

The Duquesne University men's soccer team lost it's road season finale at Rhode Island, 1-0 Sunday afternoon. The Dukes outshot the Rams 13-8, but lost the contest in the 77th on a URI free kick. Junior Ben Horner led the Dukes with five shots, including two on goal while freshman Joshua Patterson had four shots with three on goal. Junior Chris Torres suffered the loss, making three saves in 90 minutes. The Red and Blue wrap up the regular season on Friday, Nov. 6 as they host St. Bonaventure at 5:00 pm on Rooney Field. Prior to the contest, DU seniors Matthew Groves, Kevin Foglesong and Alex Trujillo will be honored.
