Duquesne's men's soccer team dropped a 3-2, double-overtime decision to George Washington Friday afternoon at GW.

After a scoreless first half, the Colonials, who are battling for a berth in the Atlantic 10 Championship, opend the scoring with a goal in the 48th minute.

The Red and Blue responded in the 65th minute as freshman Jared Gentile scored his first collegiate goal to knot the match at 1-1.

GW tied the game in the 74th minute as the Dukes put the ball in their own net, but senior Greg Annan forced overtime, scoring in the 83rd minute.

The Colonials prevailed however, scoring with just 53 seconds remaining in the second overtime.

Annan, senior Bryan Matthews and sophomore Jamie Waugh all tallied assists.

The Dukes wrap up the 2008 slate on Sunday, Nov. 9 as they travel to Richmond for a 1:00 pm contest.
