Duquesne University senior forward Damien Pottinger (Scarborough, Onatrio/Mother Teresa) has been named the Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending October 19. It is his second such honor of the season.

Pottinger, who was named to the Atlantic 10 Pre-Season All-Conference Team and was named the Most Valuable Offensive Player of the Duquesne Classic earlier this season, set a school record on Friday by scoring four goals in a 5-0 win over visiting Saint Joseph's. He also added an assist on the fifth goal to give him nine points on the day, also a school record. Pottinger is the University's all-time leading goal-scorer with 34 and also leads in career scoring with 78 points.

The Red and Blue are ranked fifth in the NSCAA's Middle Atlantic Region rankings and host Massachusetts on Friday, Oct. 24 at 7:00 pm on Rooney Field.
