Duquesne's men's soccer match vs. Saint Louis this Sunday at noon at Rooney Field will be a prostate cancer awareness match. The proceeds of the match will be going directly to the Movember movement.

Movember is an annual, month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of prostate cancer and other male cancer and associated charities. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event. The goal of Movember is to "change the face of men's health."[2]

The Dukes are working in support of Phi Delta Chi (PDC) in their Movember initiative but are also functioning as its own entity.

The team goal is to raise $750 on behalf of the program. Game day donations will be accepted on Sunday as well as online at the link above throughout the month of November.

At the match, the team will be wearing light blue and white pre-game T-shirts and will also have them available for sale at the match to add to the program donation.

There will also be light blue wristbands for purchase as well at the match again to be included in the donation.

Players and coaches will shave for the last time on Sunday October 20 in anticipation for the match and will look to try to keep their facial hair for the duration of the team's season in solidarity for this great cause.
