Austin Stout Named to Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer All-Academic Team
Stout was one of two players to start all 17 matches for the Dukes.

2017 Atlantic 10 Postseason Awards

PITTSBURGH - Austin Stout (Jamison, Pa./Central Buck South), a junior midfielder with a 3.94 GPA in integrated marketing communication, was named to the 12-man Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer All-Academic Team it was announced today. The team is selected annually by a vote of the conference's sports information directors.

Stout, a second-year transfer from West Virginia, was one of two Duquesne players to start all 17 matches in 2017. He finished second on the team in shots (23) and tied for the team lead in assists with two. His seven shots on goal ranked third among the Dukes.

Stout is the 30th player in program history to earn All-Academic honors (the 30 have combined to be named a total of 51 times). Duquesne has had at least one player named to the All-Academic Team in 21 of its 23 seasons as a member of the Atlantic 10.
