Two Dukes Receive A-10 Post-Season Awards

Two Duquesne University men's soccer players received Atlantic 10 post-season awards as voted on by the league's coaches. Sophomore midfielder Stefan Lundberg (Lower Burrell, Pa./Kiski Area) was named to the A-10's All-Conference Second Team while Lundberg and fellow sophomore midfielder Ben Horner (Butler, Pa./Butler) were named to the All-Academic Team.

Lundberg was second on the team in scoring with 14 points on five goals and four assists. He played in all 19 contests and scored game-winning goals versus Binghamton and Saint Joseph's. A liberal arts major, he boasts a 3.97 cumulative grade point average.

Ben Horner


Horner led the Dukes in scoring with 15 points on six goals and three assists. He made 17 starts on the season and scored game-winning goals versus Marshall and Robert Morris. A sports marketing major, he has a 3.91 cumulative grade point average.
