Jan. 30, 2010

Duquesne's men's swimming team battled hard with BCS foes West Virginia and Virginia Tech, but came up on the short end of the score. The Dukes fell to the host Mountaineers, 138-126 and to the Hokies, 142-119.

Junior Edward LeBlanc continued his assault on opposing swimmers, winning the 200-yard freestyle in 1:39.34 and the 100 free in 45.49. Sophomore Roman Becicka also captured a first place showing, winning the 400 IM in 4:07.88.
