Scott Darwin Crowned Atlantic 10 Champion

Junior Scott Darwin set a new school record in winning the 50-yard freestyle on day two of the Atlantic 10 Championship. Darwin's time of 20.83 did not hold up for long however, as fellow junior Ed Wicker topped the time during the opening leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay. The Dukes also won this event in a school record time of 1:22.40 as Darwin anchored the relay.
Freshman Chris Kobela also set a new school standard as he placed fourth in the 500-yard freestyle. His time of 4:37.76 in the preliminaries was the record-setter.
The Red and Blue climbed to fifth place.
