Men's Tennis Opens Up A-10 Schedule With 6-1 Win Over St. Bonaventure

QUICK RECAP: The Duquesne men's tennis team won its second consecutive match after a 6-1 Atlantic 10 Conference opening victory over St. Bonaventure on Friday evening. The Dukes jumped out ahead by taking the double point with the #1 team of Pete Carpenter and Alex Aleman winning 8-2 and the #3 team of Matt Slamecka and Harry Walshe winning 8-3. Max Rubin and Corey Robinson were up a break when the point was clinched. In singles, Duquesne won five of the six points. Carpenter (#2), Alexman (#3), Robinson (#4), Rubin (#5) and Mehdi Mekaoui were all victorious.
