FRIDAY'S FINAL: Duquesne 7, Niagara 0
SATURDAY'S FINAL: #70 Buffalo 4, Duquesne 3

WEEKEND RECAP: The Duquesne men's tennis team split a pair of weekend matches, defeating Niagara before falling to #71 Buffalo. The Dukes made easy work of the Purple Eagles, dropping only three sets in singles and one in doubles.

The following day was more challenging as Duquesne traveled to Buffalo to face the nationally ranked Bulls. The Bulls jumped out ahead, sweeping the doubles point and winning #3 singles. However, Duquesne tied the match after Pete Carpenter's 6-3, 6-5 win at #2 and Corey Robinson's win a #4 6-3, 2-6, 6-5. Rich Robbie's 5-6, 6-5, 6-3 win at #1 put the Dukes up 3-2, but UB came back to win at #5 and #6 to take the match.

UP NEXT: The Dukes travel to Lewisburg, Pa. to face Bucknell on Feb. 21st.
