RECAP: The Duquesne men's tennis team improve to 7-2 overall after a 7-0 victory at Bucknell on Friday evening. The Dukes dropped only one set the entire match as they rolled over the winless Bison (0-4). Duquesne opened up by taking the doubles point with the teams of Alex Aleman and Pete Carpenter winning at #1, Corey Robinson and Max Rubin winning at #2 and Matt Slamecka and Harry Walshe winning at #3.
After splitting the first two sets at #1 singles, Robbie took the decisive set 6-4 to seal the victory. Carpenter (#2), Aleman (#3), Corey Robinson (#4), Rubin (#5) and Mehdi Mekaoui (#6) all cruised in straight sets.
UP NEXT: The Dukes resume conference play against George Mason (3-3, 0-0 A-10) on Friday afternoon. The match will take place at Alpha Tennis and Fitness of Pittsburgh.
