Duquesne's six-match win streak came to a halt Friday afternoon as the Dukes fell to visiting Binghamton, 5-2 at The Club Sport and Health.

Aram Abgaryan won at number one singles with a 7-5, 7-5 showing and Rich Robbie won at third singles with a 7-6(4), 6-1 performance.

Pete Carpenter and Max Rubin combined to win 8-3 at #2 doubles as the Dukes fell to 10-3 on the season.

"We played a very good Binghamton team today," said head coach Rob Castille. "I thought our guys fought well but in the end they came up short. This was the end of a long week and I think my guys are a little beat up both physically and mentally. And against such a solid team, we needed to be 100%. But we can take a lot of positives away from this match as well as to learn from some of the things we need to improve upon."

The Dukes head to Orlando, Fla. where they will train during spring break. The Dukes are scheduled to face Webber International on Feb. 28 at 5:00 pm and Mount St. Mary's on March 1 at 3:00 pm.
