Duquesne's men's tennis team traveled to Orlando, Fla. for spring break and captured a couple of wins while in the Sunshine State. The Dukes topped Webber International, 5-2 on Feb. 28 and downed Mount St. Mary's, 6-1 on March 1.

Pete Carpenter and Max Rubin both went 4-0, winning both of their singles matches and teaming up to win both of their doubles matches.

Aram Abgaryan and Mehdi Mekaoui each went 3-0, with two singles wins apiece and a doubles win versus Mount St. Mary's.

"This was a great week for us getting to play some matches outside and to train in the heat," said head coach Rob Castille. "The guys worked hard all week and I'm confident our preparation will help us for the second half of the season. We competed well in both of our matches and I'm happy to come away with two wins."

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, March 10 as they host Wright State at 5:00 at The Club Sport and Health in Monroeville.
