Duquesne's men's tennis team split a pair of matches during its spring break trip to Florida. DU opened with a 5-2 triumph over Coe College on Sunday before losing back-to-back matches to Stetson and Toledo. The Dukes rebounded however for a 6-3 victory over Florida Tech before returning home.

Freshman Jeremy McClelland was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week after posting a 5-1 record in the Sunshine State. McClelland earned victories at fourth singles versus Coe, Toledo and Florida Tech and teamed up with fellow frosh Mark Maciuch to win at second doubles against Coe and Florida Tech.

Maciuch and senior Michael Ortega also won two singles matches for the Dukes.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, March 16 as they host Xavier at 2:00 pm at Club 4 Life in Monroeville.
