Buffalo Results / Bucknell Results

Duquesne's men's tennis dropped a pair of weekend decisions, falling 7-0 to Buffalo on Saturday and 5-2 at Bucknell on Sunday.

Aram Abgaryan and Rich Robbie won their singles matches versus Bucknell while Abgaryan teamed up with Alex Aleman to win at number two doubles.

"We did a lot of good things right in our match with Buffalo," said head coach Rob Castille. "I was pleased with how several of the guys stepped up and competed. Buffalo is a very good team and we battled with them from start to finish. There are a lot of positives we can take away from this match even though we lost."

"Bucknell deserved to win today," Castille continued. "They showed a lot of heart and competed better then we did. We have to do a better job of closing matches out and I hope that the guys have learned that and will apply it in future matches. We'll work hard this week and get some guys healthy and be ready to face Georgetown and George Washington next weekend."

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, March 24 as they travel to Washington, D.C. to face Georgetown at noon.
