Flyers Drop DU Men, 5-2

Visiting Dayton dropped the Duquesne University men's tennis team, 5-2, Saturday morning in the Dukes' final contest before the A-10 Championships. Juniors Devon Peightal and Rob Ojeda grabbed singles wins.

Peightal (Fairview, PA) took a straight set victory over Rob Altenau in no. 2 singles, 6-3, 7-5. Ojeda (San Juan, PR), who raised his team-best singles record to 11-6, topped Jamison Downs 6-3, 6-1 at #6.

Duquesne's regular season record is 3-11 while UD is 13-6.

The Dukes host the league championship next weekend, Friday Aptil 8 through Sunday April 10, at the Oxford Athletic Club in Monroeville, PA. The seeds will be announced on Thursday, April 7th.
