Dukes Fall to URI in Season Finale, 4-3

The Duquesne University men's tennis team lost to Rhode Island, 4-3 in its season finale and placed eighth at the Atlantic 10 Championship. Paul Clough, Devon Peightal and Adam Townsend each won their singles match while Townsend and Michael Ortega combined to win their doubles match. The Dukes however, lost the other two doubles matches and the doubles point. Richmond won the championship with a 4-2 victory over no. 2 Dayton. The top-seeded Spiders took their second straight title, and third in four seasons.
