Dukes Top Bucknell, 5-2

PITTSBURGH, PA -- - Duquesne' men's tennis team secured their first dual meet win of the fall season with a 5-2 victory over Bucknell Saturday afternoon.

Junior Micael Lopez-Acevedo, sophomores Ryan Moseley and Seth Fogelman and freshman Devon Peightal each grabbed victories in their singles competition. The four then teamed up to win the first two doubles matches to ensure the doubles point for the Dukes.

The Dukes next competition will be against cross-town rival Robert Morris when they host the Colonials on Sunday, October 6th at 1:30 p.m. as part of the Homecoming Weekend.

2. Devon Peightal (D) def. Nick Denefrio - 6-3, 6-2.
3. Ryan Moseley (D) def. Joe Menezes - 4-6, 6-4, 6-1.

Doubles

1. Fogelman/Moseley (D) def. Tien/Menezes - 8-4.
2. Lopez/Peightal (D) def. Jacobs/Denefrio - 8-2.
