Two Duquesne men's tennis players fared well at the Bucknell Invitational held Oct. 9-10 as freshman Mike Ortega won the Flight A singles title and junior Rob Ojeda finished second in the Flight B singles bracket.

Ortega defeated Trevor McDonough of Loyola, top-seeded Leo Rodriguez of Marist, Nick Denefrio of Bucknell and second-seeded Pedro Genovese of Marist while Ojeda topped top-seed Branden Vanweesbek of Marist, Scott Salway of Quinipiac and Joe Menezes of Bucknell before bowing to second seed Ray Joseph of Marist.

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Oct. 16 as they face Mercyhurst at 11:00 am at the Lakevue Athletic Club in Valencia, PA.
