Duquesne's men's tennis team was victorious in its first head-to-head match of the season, taking down host Carnegie Mellon, 6-3 Friday afternoon.
The Dukes won four of six singles matches and two of three doubles matches. Winning at both singles and doubles were senior Gustavo Villares, junior Kyle O'Leary and junior Mikhael Rasner.
The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, October 16 as they take part in the three-day Louisville Invitational.
