Six Dukes Compete at ITA Atlantic Regionals

THE EVENT: Six members of the Duquesne men's tennis team qualified for the 2013 ITA Atlantic Regionals which were held on the campus of Virginia Tech. Over 100 participants from 21 teams competed in the event. The Dukes were represented by seniors Pete Carpenter and Max Rubin, juniors Alex Aleman, Mehdi Mekouai and Rich Robbie and sophomore Harry Walshe.
The doubles team of Aleman and Pte Carpenter had a successful weekend, advancing to the Round of 16 after defeating teams from George Mason and Navy. Mekaoui and Carpenter each won their first round matches to advance in the Round of 32.
