Duquesne's men's tennis team was defeated by Georgetown, 6-1, on Saturday at the Oxford Athletic Center in Monroeville, Pa.

Micael Lopez-Acevedo (Guaynabo, PR / Colegio Marista / Bowling Green) took number one singles by 6-0, 6-4 scores over the Hoyas' Troy Crichlow. Lopez-Acevedo is this week's Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Player of the Week. The doubles team of sophomores Joseph Esposito (Huntington, NY / Half Hollow Hills West) and Robert Schirripa (Carnegie, PA / Carlynton) also were winners.
