Carpenter Named A-10 Men's Tennis Co-Performer of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Duquesne's Pete Carpenter and George Washington's Danil Zelenkov have been named Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Tennis Co-Performers of the Week, the conference announced Thursday.
Carpenter has a perfect week against Villanova and conference rival Saint Joseph's. In the Dukes two wins, both 7-0, Carpenter was victorious at #1 doubles, with partner Alex Aleman and #2 singles in both matches to improve to 16-7 overall in singles and 15-6 in doubles.
The Dukes (10-4, 4-0 A-10) return home to host Dayton (5-8, 0-0 A-10) on Friday at 5:30 p.m. Carpenter and fellow senior Max Rubin will be honored as part of the senior day festivities.
