Men's Tennis Takes A-10 Weekly Awards

Duquesne University men's tennis players sophomore Seth Fogelman (Naples, FL/Barron Collier) and freshman Devon Peightal (Fairview, PA/Cathedral Prep) swept the Atlantic 10 Conference's weekly awards dated Sept. 30. Fogelman was named Player of the Week while Peightal was tabbed Rookie of the Week.
Fogelman (right) improved to 1-1 on the season in singles play with a 6-1, 6-2 win at number four singles in the Dukes' 5-2 win over Bucknell on Saturday. In addition, he went to 2-0 in doubles play with an 8-4 victory in first doubles with teammate Ryan Moseley.
Peightal (left) also improved to 1-1 in singles play with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph in the second singles position and upped his doubles record to 1-1 with an 8-2 win at number two doubles with Micael Lopez-Acevedo.
The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Oct. 5 as they host Robert Morris (0-1) at 1:30 pm at Towers Courts as part of Duquesne's Homecoming Weekend.
