Rob Gregoire Named Head Men's Tennis Coach

PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne department of athletics has announced that Rob Gregoire has been named head men's tennis coach.
Gregoire, who is the owner and director of tennis at Alpha Tennis and Fitness of Pittsburgh (ATP) - the Dukes' home facility - brings 24 years of tennis experience to the program.
"I am excited to be taking over one of the hardest working men's tennis teams in the Atlantic 10," said Gregoire. "I look forward to doing whatever I can to take the team to next level and I am very committed to my player's academic excellence. I want to thank the administration for giving me this great opportunity."
The 2012 United States Tennis Association Allegheny Mountain District Pro of the Year, Gregoire started his teaching career in Buffalo, N.Y.
In 1999, he came to Pittsburgh to co-direct the program at the Pennsylvania Tennis Academy.
From there, Gregoire became the head pro at the Lakeview Athletic Club and co-director of Tennis for Rookie LLC before opening ATP in 2010.
A scholar athlete that graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY at Buffalo, Gregoire played #1 singles and #1 doubles for the Bulls.
