DU Quartet Sets School Record at Raleigh Relays

Raleigh, N.C. - Duquesne's men's outdoor track and field team set a new school record in the 4 x 1500 meter relay run on Friday at North Carolina State's Raleigh Relays at the Paul Derr Track.
This year's quartet of Zack Dorman, Tom Slosky, Derek Dutille and Gary Malinko finished second among 17 teams with a time a 15:50.93, six seconds behind first place Georgetown. The Dukes set the previous record of 15:59.22 at this same competition last season.
In addition, Josh Eddy and Kevin Borrelli qualified for the IC4A meet with their times in the 10,000 meter run. Eddy placed 14th in 30:43.21 while Borrelli was 22nd in 30:55.98.
The meet continues Saturday morning at 10.00 a.m.
