Men's Track 2nd at W. Pa. Championships

Duquesne's men's outdoor track and field team finished second in Saturday's 2006 Western Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Track & Field Championship at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
Seniors Zack Dorman, Gary Malinko and the 800 meter relay team of Malinko, junior Ed Guelfi, sophomore Tom Slosky and freshman Tim Majewski, each took first place in the 16-team event. Dorman, who holds the 1500 meter W. Pa. Championship record, set a new CMU stadium mark with a time of 14:44.41 in the 5000 meter run.
The Dukes stay local this weekend when they head to Coraopolis, Pa. for the two-day Robert Morris University Bennie Benson Memorial.
