Dukes Place Second at Western PA Invite

Duquesne finished second of 10 teams at the Western Pennsylvania Track and Field Championships held on Saturday at CMU.
Three Dukes broke school records at the event including sophomore Chuck Mohan who finished second in the hammer throw and set a new school record with a distance of 141 feet. He also won the discus event with a season-best throw of 145 feet, six inches and the shot put with a season-best distance of 47 feet, five inches.
Also breaking records for DU were freshman Ryan Wotus who topped the school record in the pole vault and finished second with a height of 14 feet and sophomore Aaron Panigall who set the new school standard in the 400-meter run with a time of 52.98.
The Dukes return to action on Saturday, April 12 as they travel to the Virginia Invitational.
