DU Men Compete in Four Day-One Races at Duke Invitational

Durham. N.C. - Freshman Kyle Reeping's (Saxonburg, PA / Knoch) eighth place finish in the 1500 meter developmental race paced Duquesne's men's track & field team on the opening day of the Duke Invitational, Friday at the Blue Devils' Wallace Wade Stadium.
Reeping's time of 4:03.00 led two other Dukes in the 94-runner race. Senior Eric Robertson (Allison Park, PA / North Allegheny) had Duquesne's fastest time (3:57.06) in the 1500 meter seeded run. The Red and Blue also competed in the 400 meter developmental dash and the 5000 meter seeded race.
The two-day competition resumes Saturday, April 7, 2007, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
