Men's Track Finishes 8th of 20 Teams at UVA Meet

Charlottesville, Virginia - Duquesne's men's outdoor track and field team finished in eighth place of twenty teams at Saturday's University of Virginia Lou Onesty / Milton G. Abramson Invitational at UVA's Lannigan Field.
Junior Pat McGuire (Greensburg, PA / Hempfield) and sophomore Chuck Mohan (Monroeville, PA/Gateway) took gold medals in the 3000 meter steeplechase and the discuss throw, respectively. Mohan also was awarded third place points in the shot put.
Two other Atlantic 10 squads competed at this event: Saint Joseph's which finished in 10th place and Richmond which took 15th.
The Dukes will next head to Akron, Ohio for the University of Akron's Tri Meet on Saturday, April 19th.
