Bucknell Classic (April 11) / Bucknell Challenge (April 18)

Duquesne's men's track and field team traveled to Bucknell each of the past two weekends and performed well, breaking a couple school records and seeing three Dukes qualify for the IC4A Championship. Setting new school standards were Mike Stolar with a 29:36.57 in the 10,000 meter run and Vibert Defreitas with a triple jump of 45-08.

Stolar finished second overall out of 40 runners in the 10K field on April 11 -to qualify for IC4A's. He was followed by fellow IC4A qualifiers Josh Eddy in fourth place in 29:55.51 and Scott Van Kooten in seventh in 30:31.19. Defreitas placed eighth of 26 competitors in the triple jump and was fifth of 37 in the long jump in 22-07.75.

In addition, Mark Bucklaw finished 13th of 25 in the 1,500 meter invitational in 3:51.54 while Kyle Reeping finished sixth of 55 in the 1,500 meter open in 3:58.18.
