Dukes Win 5 Events at Bucknell

Lewisburg, Pa. - Lewisburg, Pa. - Duquesne's men's outdoor track and field team won five events at the Bucknell Five Way on a cold and rainy Saturday at the Christy Mathewson - Memorial Stadium. Senior Bob Healy, sophomores Chris Horvat and Tom Slosky and freshman Derek Dutille finished first for the Red and Blue.
Duquesne's 4 x 800 meter relay team of seniors Zack Dorman and John Heinlein and juniors Mike Murawski and E.J. Robertson won the race with a time of 3:27.86.
Healy took the discuss throw with a toss of 44. 73 meters. Back on the track, Sloksy won the 1500 meter run, Horvat grabbed the 5000 meter crown and Dutille picked up the 3000 meter steeplechase victory.
The Dukes posted 92 points at this competition for fourth place, 10 points behind number 3 Binghamton.
Duquesne next heads to the prestigious Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa. The three-day competition begins on Thursday, April 27, 2006.
