DU Men's Track Takes Fifth at Bucknell Team Challenge

Duquesne's men's track and field team placed fifth of eight schools at Saturday's Bucknell Team Challenge. The Dukes captured two first place finishes and two second place showings while scoring 44 team points.
The Red and Blue finished first and fourth in the 3,000 meter run as Rico Galassi won the event with a time of 8:27.35, just 1/100th of a second off his school record time set earlier this year. Dino Andrade placed fourth with a time of 8:36.67.
DU went 2-4 in the 400 meter dash with David O'Such taking second in 48.85 and Mohamed Cisse finishing fourth with a time of 49.19. In addition, Frazee Sutphen captured second in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:40.09 while the 4x400 meter relay placed first with a time of 3:16.61.
The Dukes return to action on Saturday, April 30 as they compete in the Father Bede Invitational at Saint Francis (Pa.).
