Men's Track & Field Places Second at St. Franics Open

Duquesne's men's track & field team captured six first place finishes and secured four second place showings in placing second of three teams at the St. Francis Red Flash Open. The Dukes finished the day with 57 team points.
Turning in first place finishes for the Red and Blue were Joe Borsuk with a 21.99 in the 200 meter run, Joe O'Such with a 1:53.67 in the 800, Frazee Sutphen with a 4:12.15 in the 1,500, Kyle Trinch with a 15.68 in the 100 hurdles, Jared Horne with a long jump of 21-09.50 and Sean King with a triple jump of 41-10.25.
Finishing second for the Dukes were Shakeil Carter with a time of 11.09 in the 100, Mike Bryk with a 49.81 in the 400, Frank Dallago with a 59.90 in the 400 hurdles and Horne with a high jump of 6-02.50.
Duquesne returns to action on Saturday, May 2 as it takes part in the two-day Atlantic 10 Championship in Fairfax, Va.
