Results

The men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Baldwin Wallace Invitational, its final meet prior to the Atlantic 10 Championship next weekend at Richmond.

Several Dukes fared well including junior Pat McGuire who placed second in the 3000-meter steeplechase in a school record time of 9:13.82, which qualified him for IC4A's to be held at Princeton in mid-May. Also turning in good times was freshman Gary Malinko who finished second in the 800-meter and 1500-meter runs with times of 1:55.11 and 3:57.72 respectively. Junior Steve Moyer also placed second with a time of 15:15.97 in the 5000-meter run.
