Philadelphia, Pa. - Junior Chuck Mohan established a new Duquesne record in the discus throw Friday in the Penn Relays at Franklin Field. Mohan's toss of 51.16 meters (167 feet, 10 inches) was good for seventh place in the 30-athlete competition. This broke his own school record of 164 feet, 7 inches that he set last year at the Campbell/Wright Open.

DU's men's distance medley relay team finished 10th of 30 teams with a time of 9:58.30. Junior Ryan Wotus competed in the pole vault but didn't register a markable height.

The competition concludes on Saturday.
