Men's Track Places Second at Red Flash Open

Duquesne's men's track and field team scored 79 team points in finishing second at Saturday's Red Flash Open at Saint Francis. The Dukes secured nine first place finishes on the day (seven individual, two relay).

Individuals finishing first for the Red and Blue were Rico Galassi in the 1,500 meter run (4:00.36), Mike Bryk in the 400 meter run (49.94), David O'Such in the 100 meter dash (10.92), Frank Dallago in the 400 meter hurdles (55.13), David O'Such in the 200 meter dash (22.11), Nehari Crawford in the long jump (6.71) and Christian Kazanjian in the 3,000 meter run (8:47.79).

Also taking gold were the 4x100 meter relay and the 4x400 meter relay.

The Dukes return to action May 7-8 as they compete in the Atlantic 10 Championship in Fairfax, Va.
