Men's Track Competes at YSU Icebreaker

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Duquesne men's and track and field team competed at the Youngstown State Icebreaker indoor meet on Friday evening at the Watson and Tressel Training Site to open the 2017-18 campaign. 

Casey Conboy placed first in the 3000-meter run with a time of 8:49.42 in his collegiate track & field debut for the Dukes. 

Isaac Elliott finished second in both the 60-meter dash (6.87) and the 200-meter dash (21.66) and was part of Duquesne's 4x400-meter relay team with Dillon Carrington, David O'Such and Kenny Baurle which placed third in the event with a time of 3:21.93. 

Preston Hogue (400-meter dash - 49.45) and Harvey Kane (long jump - 6.75m) each added third-place finishes in their respective events for the Dukes. 

UP NEXT - Duquesne is back in action at the Marshall Thundering Herd Invitational on Jan. 13 in Huntingdon, W.V.
