Hampton, Va. - Duquesne University's wrestling team was shutout at the Virginia Duals Natiional Division competition Friday at the Hampton Coliseum.

The Dukes, who had won the Peninsula Wrestling Association's American Division competition last year, were topped by Bloomsburg (45-6), North Dakota State (31-9) and VMI (34-15).

Seniors Brad Ciprani, Rob Dempsey and Jared Ricotta each won two matches.

Duquesne next takes on Washington & Jefferson on Thursday, January 18, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. at the Henry Memorial Center in "Little Washington."
