Dukes Split a Pair of Matches at Clarion

Duquesne's wreatling team split a pair of dual match decisions Friday evening at Clarion, bowing to the hosts, 30-13, while defeating Wagner, 47-0.
Senior Jonathan Bittinger won two matches at 125 pounds, defeating Clarion's Jay Ivanco 7-2 and Wagner's Joe Eurell by tech fall, 17-2. Sophomore Jayk Cobbs also went 2-0, downing Clarion's Tony Lascari, 13-5 and Wagner's Nick Keshecki, 19-2 at 141 pounds. Junior Dan Pauley captured two win by forfeit at 165 pounds.
The Dukes return to action on Sunday, Feb. 3 as they travel to Millersville, Pa. for the East Regional Duals.
